If you're seeking to work with an amazing team in a"get-it-done" atmosphere that supports your development, and recognizesyour achievements, BNI is the place for you.Position Summary: The CNC Maintenance Technician is responsible for themaintenance and repair of CNC and manual manufacturing equipment, includinglathes, mills, grinders, EDM machines, and other specialtymanufacturing equipment. This is a hands-on maintenance position. Thetechnician will define, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance andrepairs, and maintain detailed maintenance records. The technician willutilize knowledge in mechanical systems, machine leveling/alignment,hydraulics, lubrication, pneumatics, electrical systems, CNCcontrols, drives and motors in completion of job responsibilities withlimited supervision. The Maintenance Technician will consult and coordinatewith 3rd parties when required for equipment repair. Monitoring andcoordinating repair of major building systems (cranes, hoists, HVAC,air compressors, chillers, etc.) may also be required.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with defined schedules on allequipment.Evaluate reported problems using a variety of methods and train otheremployees on maintenance tasks.Dismantle equipment as required to test, repair and/or replace defectivecomponents, using appropriate tools and or precision testing equipment,ensuring that the work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.Ensure safety of the employees and quality of the products throughout allprocesses.Continuously improve procedures, processes and methods to effectively meetcustomer needs and organizational objectives.Qualifications:To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge,training, experience and abilities required.Education and TrainingAssociate's Degree in a technology related field, or other specificrelated training or apprenticeship (mill wright, machine repair, machinevendor specific training, etc.).ExperienceFive (5) years of machine repair experience in a CNC machining environment.Understand function of CNC machining equipment.Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Experience with machine leveling and alignment.Understand electronics to diagnosing equipment failures.General knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, Okuma or CNC controls.Ability to diagnose AC and DC circuits.Understanding of machine coordinate systemsOtherMust be willing to work overtime as required.Desired Job Qualification:TIG welding knowledge and experience.Work Authorization/Security ClearanceMust be able to work in the U.S without sponsorship.
