If you're seeking to work with an amazing team in a"get-it-done" atmosphere that supports your development, and recognizesyour achievements, BNI is the place for you.Position Summary: The CNC Programming Supervisor is responsible for ensuringall CNC programming, machine setup documentation, and tooling are readyand available to support the on-time production start for manufacturing jobs.This is accomplished through assigning jobs to programmers based on theproduction plan and employee skill level, and ensuring special tools areordered and the tool room has the proper inventory of standard tools ready forproduction. The CNC Programming Supervisor is responsible to engage CNCprogrammers, clear roadblocks and troubleshoot difficult machining andprogramming problems. The CNC Programming Supervisor is responsible forfostering and leading continuous improvement efforts, as well as developingthe team through hiring, training and holding employees accountable to highproductivity and quality standardsDuties and Responsibilities:Manage, lead, engage, hold accountable and develop department employeesto ensure job satisfaction and growth.Lead implementation, training, and use of all CNC Programming software andprocesses to ensure up to date tools and methods are being used for creatingCNC programs.Oversee all aspects of cutting tool selection and management.Support Sales, Program Management, and Manufacturing Engineering as needto accurately estimate machining, setup, and programming times.Lead the machining preparation process to ensure a high-level of on-time startand on-time completion of machined components.Coordinate with quality and program managers to resolve quality defects.Lead manufacturing risk reviews to prevent machining defects on high-riskjobs, and lead corrective action efforts related to machining,programming, or tooling deficiencies.Ensure safety of the employees and quality of the products throughout allprocesses.Create a culture of continuous improvement within your team where all membersunderstand and are actively engaged in continuous improvement.Supervisory Responsibilities:Directly supervises employees in programming department; carries outsupervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization'spolicies, values, and applicable laws. Responsibilities includeinterviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning,and directing work; developing employees' skills and encouraging growth;setting expectations and appraising performance; rewarding and discipliningemployees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; establishingpositive employee relationships through fair, consistent, and respectfultreatment of employees. Continually work to improve supervisory skills.Qualifications:To qualify for this position, an individual must posses the knowledge,training, experience and abilities required.Education and Training:Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or Machine Tool
