Peraton Corporation Cloud Administrator in Aurora, Colorado
Overview
Peraton is seeking a Cloud Administrator to provide cloud administration support for a classified cloud environment hosting multiple government programs. This is a hands-on position which requires constant monitoring of system status, responding to user requests for provisioning user accounts, configuring virtual private clouds, and deploy cloud support services such as bastion hosts, service points of entry, and other user-specific cloud services.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be required to provide 8x5 support and be available to support high profile/escalated support requests after hours. Additional responsibilities include first-level software & network support, problem identification, system performance analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology or Computer Technology, or equivalent Military Training/Experience performing Helpdesk Support or System Administration is acceptable
You have 5 years of experience providing Help Desk/System Administration or other similar Information Technology background in support of software and/or network operations. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and technical staff.
You are CompTIA Security + certified or working towards certification.
You have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance (candidate must be willing to obtain a polygraph if needed)
Desired Qualifications
You have prior experience with Intelligence or DoD programs, either within the military or as a civilian contractor
You have Linux administration experience
You have a current CASP certification and experience with Linux/Unix Operating Systems.
This position pays$120,000 - $140,000based on required experience and market factors.
