Description DevOps Architect

Aurora, CO

Working to develop and maintain signal processing applications for use in real-time operational environment. Team members need to be multi-disciplined engineers able to contribute across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration and test, and metrics. The team works closely with operations personnel to meet unique and continuously evolving development needs. The system is primarily a maintenance contract working enhancements and fixes through customer approval processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute migration of existing infrastructure into an adapted DevOps that meets customer's needs and works within customer environment • Plan and execute migration of existing team dynamics into an adapted Agile environment that meets customer's needs and works within development, test, and operational environment • Communicate with team members regarding the architecture, discuss problems and recommend solutions and improvements

Required Skills:

• Experience working in Agile Environment • Experience architecting DevOps solutions with key focus on automated testing • Experience with developing DevOps pipelines, processes, and methodologies within IC domain • Automating/scripting to support staging, executing, and monitoring unit and system builds • Experience working with modernization of legacy SW products • Experience with CTF infrastructure • c/c++ • Linux scripting languages (bash, tch, csh, perl, sh) • Java • Red Hat OS • Microsoft Office • BitBucket or GIT configuration management tools and techniques • TS/SCI Clearance • Experience with Software process lifecycle (including Concept of operations, requirements, system design/architecting, development, testing, delivery, and system maintenance) • Ability to work in a small team environment, high paced, with flexibility in job role • Presentation and Documentation skills • Ability to work independently and with little supervision • Self-motivated (ability to perform tasks with little to no direct supervision) • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite Desired Skills: • Jenkins or similar pipeline orchestration tools • Knowledge of S2P software tools and frameworks • Python • Fortran • X-Midas • NextMidas • Midas2k • Digital Signal Processing (FFT, Tuning, Modulation/demodulation) • EE degree or course work • Work with RF sensors • Software patterns • Netbeans or Eclip0se IDEs • Client Compiler (c, C++, fortran, MKL) • Experience with real-time systems • Quick to identify and fix problems

Required Education:

• 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Systems Engineering
