UCHealth Pharmacy Procurement Specialist in Aurora, Colorado
Contributes clinical knowledge and value analysis to support supply chain activities and to optimize pharmacy product selection, evaluation, use and implementation.
Full time, 1.0 FTE (80 hrs/pp)

Analyzes product data from a variety of sources and develops a classification schema.
Develops rules to ensure the accurate classification and cross-referencing of products used.
Develops, implements, and monitors a value analysis process to ensure the appropriate and efficient use of clinical products and to identify cost-savings and quality improvement opportunities.
Collaborates on clinical product evaluation and selection processes.
Solicits the input of clinical leaders to achieve customer satisfaction with product selection and use.
Serves as a liaison between department, internal customers, and vendors to communicate and resolve issues, including pricing discrepancies, product conversions, inventory control practices, contract management and vendor support.
Minimum education: High School diploma or GED.
Required Licensure/Certification: PHATP (Pharmacy Technician Provisional) certification from State Board of Pharmacy. PHAT (Pharmacy Technician) certification from State Board of Pharmacy within 18 months of hire.
Minimum Experience: 3 years of Pharmacy Technician or Buyer experience.
This position's pay range starts at: $21.060000/hour.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
