This job opportunity is for the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) position at Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS), Aurora CO facility. The ISSM is responsible for the execution of the Information Assurance program at the Aurora facility as stipulated by various USG requirements documents including (but not limited to): JSIG, ICD 503 RMF, and associated NIST documents. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the IA team and the effective execution of the Information Assurance Cyber program to include (but not limited to): Development of all Assessment and Authorization artifacts (SSPs, System Profiles, SSP attachments, POA&Ms, testing documentation, etc.) Information Assurance sustainment activities (hardware change management, software change management, account management, media protection, user interface, file transfers, etc.) Information System Self Inspection, Auditing, and Continuous Monitoring Interfacing with Internal/External Customers: Customer Representatives, Program Managers/Directors, IT, etc. IA Training and Awareness Incident response, investigation, and resolution Development, maintenance, and execution of effective, well written, and customer compliant IA policies and procedures Incident response, investigation, and resolution Incident response, investigation, and resolution Basis of Estimate (BOE) development Development, maintenance, and execution of effective, well written, and customer compliant IA policies and procedures The ideal candidate possesses strong written and oral communications skills, technical knowledge, exemplary customer service skills, strong time management skills, the ability to creatively find solutions to complex challenges, and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment. This position will report directly to the Western Region Information Assurance Manager (IAM) for Raytheon IIS. * This position will require the successful completion of a polygraph examination. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance with Poly. Required Skills: US Citizen with an active Top Secret Security Clearance or current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) Experience in Information Systems Security/Information Assurance, Security Engineering, or IT Systems Administration Experience successfully and effectively interacting with internal and external customers (Program Managers, Customer Representatives, General Users, Privileged Users, etc.) Experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and supporting Assessment & Authorization (A&A) documentation Experience supporting various computer hardware platforms and multiple operating systems, both stand alone and LAN/WAN configurations Working knowledge of operating systems security features and settings (e.g. Windows and Linux) Professional demeanor, good interpersonal skills, and ability to excel in a high-paced multi-tasked environment Ability to act independently, prioritize tasks, and manage to schedule Willingness to perform security tasks outside specialty (e.g. program security) and be proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio, etc.) Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written modes, and be able to author and present subject specific presentations. Comfortable with public speaking Must be willing and able to travel to other locations as required up to 10% of work schedule Desired Skills: In-depth knowledge of JSIG, ICD 503, NIST special publications, CNSS policies and instructions and other requirements documents associated with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Experience with various information system security assessment/hardening tools (e.g. NESSUS, SCAP Compliance Checker, Retina, etc.) Working knowledge of Wide-Area and Local Area Networks (WAN/LAN), to include Cisco-based routers, switches, and firewalls Prior ISSO/IAO experience DoD 8570.01M compliant Professional Certification (e.g. Security +, CISSP, GSEC, etc.) After being hired, candidate must be willing to be submitted for SCI access and take a polygraph examination.
