Performs Design and Documentation of test automation framework, test environment infrastructure, test processes (includes selection of technologies and tools). Identifies necessary test data, test data management approach. Performs Design and Documentation of external emulators. Identifies approach/metrics for monitoring effectiveness of test activities, identify and implement improvements throughout test lifecycle. Utilizes a broad knowledge of precedents in I&T engineering and applies understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity. Conducts tests, which include collaborating with others in establishing language, database, and computer simulation requirements and configuration management techniques. Attends technical interchange meetings with the team members and other program personnel, and represents the organization in matters pertaining to Software Integration activities / impacts. Provides status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks. Provides document review and resolves technical integration and test issues. Supports ECP efforts as required. Must have the ability to manage time and resources in order to meet assigned deadlines. Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizens with a current SSBI clearance There is the potential for external candidates to receive a sign-on bonuses of up to $20,000 for hires with an active Top Secret clearance if hired on this requisition. Required Experience, Knowledge and/or Skills: • Bachelor degree and at least 10 years (as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer) demonstrated engineering leadership experience with proven track record. • MUST have a current SSBI Security Clearance • Experience in systems engineering functions including: operations concept development, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control • Experience in integration, and/or verification and validation • Key Broad awareness of testing approaches, practices and techniques in order to help design and deliver the overall testing methodology used by the team • Strong Software / System Architecture Skills • Exposure to modern infrastructure technologies: AWS, Containerization • Awareness of Systems Engineering Practices / Tools • Some Experience with the one or more of following toolchain/technologies: -Java -Selenium -Cucumber -Git -REST API -JavaScript/Angular Desired Experience, Knowledge and/or Skills (a plus not required): • Experience with satellite command and control • Experience with ground equipment command and control • Software Test Architect on a large government contract • Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract. • Experience in requirements management • Experience in CONOPS / OPSCON development • Experience in architecture development of SW centric systems • Experience in SE process development and deployment • Experience in Operations including: procedure development, training, transition planning, installation, and deployment • Experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly previous deployment of developed systems to ground station operations • Experience working on a program managed using Earned Value Management Education Requirements: Bachelor degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
