SAIC SIGINT Data Analysis Engineer in AURORA, Colorado

Description

SAIC is looking for a SIGINT Data Analysis Engineer to support a dynamic program in Chantilly, Virginia . This position requires an active TS/SCI with Poly.

SAIC is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SIGINT collection data interpretation and analysis for a National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Systems Program Office (SPO) in Aurora, Colorado. The candidate will interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (senior acquisition leadership, Program Managers, Technical Leads, and external organizations such as operational users). A candidate with experience in developing software tools for SIGINT data interpretation and an understanding of stakeholder requirements for operational use of ELINT and SIGINT data. The candidate will be expected to continually balance and adjust work priorities to meet short term work suspense and rapidly evolving customer needs. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and team skills.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide analysis of ELINT data for operational use

  • Provide technical review and assessment of SIGINT technologies and theoretical concepts of signal characteristics

  • Advise on issues related to feasibility and applicability of new SIGINT technologies for future satellite architectures, spacecraft concepts, and capabilities

  • Prepare deliverables that include collection data, gap analyses, utilization analyses, statistical and forecasting analyses

  • Develop tools for SIGINT data processing

  • Provide technical support to acquisition, source selection and programmatic processes, including developing acquisition support documents, conducting technical evaluation, and verification

  • Work independently and communicate regularly with program office customers

Qualifications

  • BS Degree - STEM or Systems Engineering

  • 10+ years of experience in spacecraft activation and mission operations for multiple spacecraft programs

  • Familiar with NRO spacecraft operations and mission operations centers

  • Familiar with NRO mission operations internal and external stakeholders

  • 10+ years space systems experience

  • Systems engineering leadership experience, including understanding of risk management and requirements management for space systems

  • Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) free, capable of providing technical and acquisition support to Government

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with background investigation within 5 years and CI polygraph

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MS Degree – STEM

  • 15+ years of experience in technical program management and systems engineering

  • 15+ years space systems experience
