Aerotek Cell Biology Research Associate in Boulder, Colorado


• Maintain human cell lines in culture • Provide support for the execution of cell engineering workflows • Prepare gDNA samples for NGS library prep • Perform SOPs for established molecular assays (e.g. RT-qPCR) • Provide support for plasmid-based cloning • Work closely with Scientists to execute flow cytometry based assays • Provide general lab and data analysis support for Scientists

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in a life sciences related discipline • 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably in an industry setting • Experience with mammalian tissue culture for routine maintenance and cell banking • Flow cytometry experience preferred • Experience running and optimizing basic molecular biology protocols including PCR, qPCR, DNA purification, DNA cloning, and DNA sequencing • Desire to work in a team environment and collaborate closely with other cross-functional teams • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
