KBI Biopharma Research Associate - Bioassays in Boulder, Colorado

Job Summary:Open position available in the Bioassay group in Characterization Services.Responsible for supporting analytical testing and method development ofELISA, cell-based, ligand binding, biochemical, and SPR bioassays forbiopharmaceutical studies. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a highattention to detail, able to accurately and consistently generate results,works well in teams, enjoys science, and is capable of independentlearning. Technical writing skills are a plus.Job Requirements:?Familiarity with ELISA, cell-based, and/or ligand binding bioassays isdesired, but not required. Knowledge of other bioanalytical techniques is aplus: SPR, ECL, BCA, HTRF, alphascreen, qPCR, flow cytometry,cytotoxicity effector function (ADCC, CDC, ADCP).Occasional use of liquid handling automation for performing assays. Anaptitude for lab automation and/or basic programming could be advantageous.Design and execution of experiments.Attention to detail and organization of data in electronic laboratorynotebooks.Presentation of results in team meetings.Technical writing of summary reports detailing study execution and results.Troubleshooting instrumentation and processes.Strong willingness to learn new techniques.Effective communication skills and teamwork are essential in this team basedgroup.Adherence to laboratory safety guidelines.Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks asassigned while meeting client deadlines.Education:?B.S. degree and 0-2 years of related lab experience.Alternatively, a B.S. degree and 2-5 years of non-related lab experience maybe acceptable.KBI Biopharma, Inc. is an EEO/AA employer and actively seeks to diversifyits work force.
