Research Associate - II or III Biological Assay Development 89 K -100 K

Will be responsible for one or more research projects aimed at further development of the company product assays.

Desired skills include:

Proven performance and demonstrated skill with immunoassay techniques, such as ELISA, Western Blot, lateral flow assays, or protein microarrays. Antibody purification, chromatography, and bioconjugation chemistries. Demonstrated skill working with biomedical or clinical diagnostics instrumentation, especially systems involving microarrays, fluid handling, and fluorescence microscopy. Familiarity with biosafety level 2 and bloodborne pathogen handling. Familiarity with operating in a regulated environment e.g., FDA Quality System or ISO . Demonstrated background with human clinical sample handling and preparation.

Desired Education and Experience:

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, or related field from an accredited university.

• Ideally at least 5 years’ experience and demonstrated skills in biological assay development.
