Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Senior Staff in Boulder, Colorado

Description: This position will support the SBIRS program System Engineering team in all phases of development to include Deficiency Reporting, Requirements development, analysis, decomposition and baselining activities. In addition, candidate will be expected to collaborate with subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates, participate in customer design reviews, demonstrations, briefings, metrics collection, assignment distribution, status collection, DOORS administration and Clear Case / Clear Quest support. It is also anticipated the successful candidate will take on technical mentoring responsibilities and assist junior engineers as needed. It is also expected the ideal candidate will take on a technical leadership role, provide mentoring to junior engineers, support proposal activities, provide training and will have decision making authority. The ideal candidate will have RF experience, electro-optical DSP experience, requirements decomposition, proposal work (i.e., SOW familiarity), IRAD experience, and ICD development. Experience as a Chief Engineer is a bonus.

Basic Qualifications:

-Project Engineer experience

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Strong interpersonal skills

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/ level clearance, with a final required to start.
