We are havingfun here, come join us!Summary of Position:This employee will be working in the Test Engineering Group, focused onvalidation of Emerging Markets storage solutions.Day to day activities will include test planning and test case design, testcase automation architecture design and development, tracking, and reporting.Go programming a plus.Specific Responsibilities:Work closely with engineering development departments within Spectra Logic tofacilitate the transfer of knowledge to the Test group for new projects andproducts.Design and implement automation infrastructure environment.Design test plans and test cases using a variety of technologies that areprecise, accurate, repeatable, maintainable, and clean. Automate testcases for maximum team efficiency.Project manage a team through a software development lifecycle from a Testperspective.Develop a thorough understanding of the Spectra Logic Deep Storage Devicesproduct line.Effectively communicate with other development groups in order to provide allnecessary information needed to fix issues.Be passionate about creating world class products by applying new testingmethodologies.Education and Experience:Minimum of B.S. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or 5+years of related experience.Previous Test Team leadership experience.5+ years of Test Engineering experience preferred.7+ years development experience.Strong analytical, diagnosis, and troubleshooting skills.Experience with basic System Administrator for Windows, Unix, and Linuxenvironments.Must be able to work in an Agile environment where requirements and prioritiescan change very quickly.Experience with HW and SW integrated solutions a plus.Status: Full TimeWhy Spectra?Located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Boulder, Colorado,Spectra Logic provides a career and work experience second to none.Chat about forecasting and bench marking while gazing at the fabulous view;work out on your own or with our trainer at one of the on-campus gyms; grablunch or snacks onsite or challenge the CEO to a game of pinball; and growyour career with peers who are second to none.Privately held since its inception in 1979, Spectra is allowed to dowhat is right without having to satisfy Wall Street each quarter.
