The Production Technician employee is responsible for the assembly and testingof manufactured goods. The employee is also responsible for dis-assembly,repair and/or replacement of sub-assemblies, and/or component parts asdirected. We are looking for a detailed, reliable and motivated individualwho wants to join our awesome operations team!COME ON BOARD THE PRODUCTION TEAM!How will you make a difference?Assist with maintaining AS9100 production test requirements and certification.Understand and assist with any inventory transactions, and data recordingrequired to produce our products.Assist with physical inventory requirements as required.Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and provide feedback on theproduction floorCollaborate and contribute to new product introduction (NPI) andcontinuous improvement projectsAssembly FocusLearn, understand and use the processes and procedures for producing products.Assist with the timely completion of manufactured assemblies while maintainingthe highest quality levels of workmanship.Able to assemble/disassemble, repair or replace subassemblies and/orassemblies to produce an acceptable product without damage to components orassemblies.Demonstrate an advanced understanding for electro-mechanical assemblies andcorresponding systemsTesting FocusAssist in the provisioning of products to prepare them for testing.Inspection and Test (per required Manufacturing Test Procedure) tofinalize an acceptable product.Assist in the testing of customer-returned products.Assist with troubleshooting of failed product to determine the failedsub-component.Recognize and act accordingly to differences between production and repairprocesses and unitsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent with additional specialized technicaltraining equivalent to a Technical Associate degreeMinimum of three (3) years' experience in an electronics assemblyoperation in an assembly/repair capacity and/or three (3) years'experience in testing electronic products.This is a safety-sensitive position. Position is subject to random drugtesting.Experience, Skills and TalentsComputer literacy preferred.Good communication skills. Speak and understand English; ability to read andinterpret written and/or verbal instructions.Certified to JSTD and/or IPC standards preferred.Familiar with ISO9000/9001 (AS9100 preferred) production test requirements.Experience with Agile PLM and Navision ERP systems preferred.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
