We are looking for astrong and experienced engineer to complement our Mac development team,which is responsible for the core Mac products at Webroot. Our mission is todevelop cutting-edge internet security and anti-malware applications thatutilize our revolutionary cloud-based technology.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, maintain, and evolve our suite of security products formacOS.Collaborate with Product, Development, and QA teams throughout the productdevelopment lifecycle.With some guidance, deliver high quality, performant, secure code andproducts.Write unit, integration, service, and other required automation tests.Create and maintain product documentation.Mentor, learn from, and collaborate with other team members to removeblockers.Actively apprise fellow team members and management of development progressand blockers.Review and approve merge requests.Continuously improve development processes and product quality by implementingbest-practices.Perform research and prototyping of new features.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE5+ years of experience in object-oriented programmingProven experience writing automated unit and integration testsExperience with networking protocols and software interfacesAbility to write clean, maintainable codeQuality-focused mindsetAbility to work in Agile and highly collaborative environmentsUnderstanding of Agile principles and conceptsStrong English written and verbal communication skillsAbility and desire to learn new technologies and toolsBONUS POINTS FORUnderstanding software security and malware detection principlesA degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experienceSwift, Objective-C, C++, and/or C experiencemacOS internals knowledgeHands-on experience implementing the S.O.L.I.D. principlesHands-on experience with Test-Driven DevelopmentExperience working in an Agile environmentXcode, git, GitLab, AWSStrong understanding of Apple codesigning and notarization paradigmsExperience building/maintaining Continuous Integration pipelinesSignificant experience developing user-interface-driven applicationsAt OpenText we understand and value diversity in our employees and are proudto be an Equal Opportunity Employer.At OpenText we understand and value diversity in our employees and are proudto be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
