Responsible for developing enterprise wide cross-functional software solutions, working closely with IT Software Architects and IT Business Analysts technical teams. In addition, work closely with other Software Engineers to develop and support post implemented solutions as well as supporting current business systems.
Participate in solution design to satisfy a wide range of business needs.
Analysis and translation of business requirements into technical requirements for development, and creation of design documents and technical specifications.
Develop, test, and implement software solutions that meet business requirements or enhance an existing system
Adhere to Best Practices and Standards in the areas of technology and security.
Provide post implementation support including, but not limited to, monitoring application performance and debugging existing code.
Provide support for existing business systems, such as IBM Filenet, Kofax Capture / KTM and Opentext’s Metastorm Business Process Management.
Keep abreast of advancements and changes in technology and develop an understanding of how new technologies can be leveraged to provide business solutions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related major
Minimum 3 years of .NET developer experience.
COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
Understanding of best practices and methods to integrate applications within the organization and with external partners.
Proficiency in document management systems as well as document scanning and capture solutions.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and business functions.
Strong analytical skills to determine effective approaches to business solutions.
Ability to perform effectively in a team-oriented, fast paced environment.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Desktop experience and proficiency in VB.NET, ASP.net, C#, Transact-SQL, and Stored Procedures
Business Process Management/Workflow experience
Experience with Change Gear or other issue tracking products
