Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a related field

  • 3+ years experience in media or broadcast/entertainment operations, with 1+ years experience in digital media

  • 3+ years experience in client/account management or project management

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and process mapping tools (e.g. Visio)

  • 2+ yrs experience in a supervisory role in the broadcast/media industry with a track record of proven leadership, effective staff management, and strong team skillsAdditional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work in Centennial, CO

  • Must be able to be available and on call on 24/7 basis (excluding extreme circumstances) to receive escalation and trouble shoot issues

  • Must be willing to stay late and work extra hours for launches and special events

  • Must be able to work swing or overnight shift, if necessary

  • Must be willing and able to work when a critical issue arises, supporting a 24/7/365 operation

Desired Characteristics:

  • Extensive and significant experience, understanding and knowledge of media prep technical systems, standards and processes

  • Extensive experience developing roadmaps that integrate process improvement, business growth & technology advancements

  • Prior experience with REACT, OTTO, Webscheduler, and Mediator in a media prep environment

  • Experience with Evertz Mediator media asset management & playout automation system

  • Experience with both linear & non-linear programming systems

  • Experience with Avid and Premiere editing systems

  • Prior experience with international operations and workflows

  • Experience with scheduling and resource management

  • Strong attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills

  • A track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations

  • Proven track record of impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal with strong attention to detail

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills for interacting with senior leaders and global clients

  • A respectful team player, who follows rules and policy, has good communication skills while maintaining a positive attitude

  • Ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a deadline-oriented environment

  • Effectively flexible in approach, and responds well to pressure
