LinQuest Defensive/Offensive Space Control Training Analyst in Colorado Springs, Colorado

DescriptionLinQuest is seeking a Space Control Training SME to join us in ColoradoSprings, Colorado.The SME will support a high-octane team in a dynamic space operationsenvironment to support the 21 Operations Support Squadron. The mission of 21OSS is to empower air, space, and cyberspace missions by providingunparalleled, disciplined, and innovative operations support to the 21stSpace Wing and mission partners. Within the 21 OSS, the Space ControlTraining (SCT) flight establishes the mission qualification trainingpipeline for offensive and defensive space electronic warfare. Candidates willprovide continuity and support to the SCT flight through training productcreation, instruction, and involvement in future space control weaponsystem capability discussions.Responsibilities:Develop accurate lessons plans, scripts, visual aids, and input cardsthat enhance instruction in accordance with (IAW) the format as outlinedin the 21 OSS/ SCT Standardized Operating Procedures (SOP)Assist the Government with the creation of an Initial Plan of Instruction(IPOI) per courseCoordinate with various agencies, such as AFSPC, 14 AF, SMC, 216SPCS, 16 SPCS, 4 SPCS, 114 SPCS, 138 SPCS, 233 SG-Det 1, 380SPCS, 21 OG - within the space control enterprise to enhance teachingmaterials. Agencies can include, but are not limited to, the Weapons andTactics (DOK) shops, intelligence communities, maintenance shops, and tacticalStandardize all training products, lesson plans, script, and input cardsIAW the 21 OSS/SCT SOPValidate all training products through the coordination, validation, andapproval process as stated in the 21 OSS/SCT SOPReview all training products for currency once per year, at a minimum, andsuggest changes to the Government for approval IAW 21 OSS/SCT SOPEnsure that instructor processes are standardized within 21 OSS/SCT andabide by the Instructional System Development (ISD) principles andguidance stated in the 21 OSS/SCT SOPProvide recommended changes to governing instructions to the Government onceper year, at a minimum, after the yearly review of training productsInstruct the following estimated courses associated with securityclassifications Secret (S) or Top/Secret Sensitive CompartmentedInformation (TS/SCI)Obtain weapon system and ASE training to be documented and retained by 21OSS/SCT. The knowledge gained from training will be used to provide trainingback to the space control operatorsBe proficient on utilizing each piece of equipment and how the equipmentfunctions together as a cohesive system in order to provide training to spacecontrol operatorsBe proficient at basic depot level troubleshooting if an issue arises withinthe systemBe trained and achieve SME status in all system upgrades in order to providetraining to space control operatorsUse SME knowledge to identify improvements/upgrades to systems and makerecommendations of improvements/upgrades to the Government on an annualbasis, at a minimumReview the System Training Plan (STP) for the systems and be present whena Training Planning Team (TPT) convenes quarterly Required Skills and Experience:Must have an active TS/SCI clearance in order to be considered for thisposition3+ years of Offensive and/or Defensive Space Control experience isrequired to be considered for this position.5+ years of Space Operations experience OR as a Space OperationsInstructor/Evaluator is required to be considered for this position.Associates or Bachelors Degree in Space Operations, Business Management orrelevant subject area to the position responsibilities.Operations Support Squadron experience with a focus on 21st Space Wing.Classroom instruction experience in Space Operations.Familiarity with logistics support for space weapon systems.Ability to develop and teach lesson plans to large groups of people.Skilled in public speaking.Proficient in...
