Apogee is actively seeking an Engagement and Communications Specialist to work at our Corporate HQ Office in Colorado Springs, CO.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with Apogee leadership to successfully implement engagement activities and track employee engagement
  • Help define new methods of internal employee engagement and associated tools/platforms
  • Plan, manage, and support the generation of content for Apogee’s quarterly employee newsletter
  • Lead employee engagement through Apogee’s FB Workplace site and groups
  • Participate in the communication strategy rollout of future campaigns that demonstrate our commitment to employee well-being
  • Champion Apogee’s culture to ensure positive and family-like engagement for all employees
  • Collaborate with employees to ensure company leadership maintains an understanding of the communication needs of front-line leaders
  • Support selection of future communication tools and methodologies
  • Potentially support external communications activities

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of experience of enterprise-wide communications across multiple platforms preferred
  • Positive attitude and outstanding organizational skills
  • Familiarity with the US Military preferred
  • Familiarity with government contracting industry is preferred
  • Experience working directly with executive level leadership preferred
  • Expertise in social media to include Facebook, Facebook Workplace
