MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. 1 year working as a facilities or construction technician, or equivalentexperience. Must have and/or be willing to gain extensive knowledge of the Americanswith Disabilities Act and 2010 ADA Standards and other disabilities rightslaws.PHYSICAL DEMANDS Mix of field work in varying environmental conditions and general officeenvironment. Both In-State and Out-of-state travel is required, on short notice, upto two weeks at a time. Ability to conduct on-site data collection for up to ten hours per day. Lifting up to 15 pounds. Standing, squatting, kneeling, and bending on a regular basis Walking up to 10 miles per day Accommodations may be made, for otherwise qualified individuals whorequire and request accommodations, to assist in fulfilling the jobrequirementDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESData Collection and Administration: Lead or assist in all phases of data collection for ADA compliance. Demonstrate basic skills for operating and reading measurements on datacollection tools, including but not limited to: a tape measure, smartlevel, and door force gauge. Proficient with MS Office applications with excellence in MS Excel. Use satellite imagery to review existing areas for ADA compliance.Data Analysis: Demonstrate strong analytical skills. Initially assist, and eventually analyze and complete ComplianceManagement Tables for State and Local Government (Title II) clients andCompliance Management Plans for title III clients. Initially assist, and eventually interpret and analyze all phases ofarchitectural design drawings for non-compliance.GENERAL SKILLS: Ability to communicate effectively in speech and/or writing. Ability to work cooperatively with others.
