Job Title: Help Desk/Shift OperatorWork Location: Annapolis Junction and Colorado Springs, COClearance: Current/active DoD Secret Clearance and TSA suitabilityEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or 3+ yearsrelated experience in a technical field in lieu of a degreeSchedule: Rotating shifts covering 24 x 7 x 365 work scheduleTravel: OccasionalSalary: Commensurate with experienceJob Listing Number: CO20011LCAT: Help Desk Tier I/Shift Operator Level 1Summary:The qualified candidate will become part of the team working at ourcustomer's site as an Operations Support Center (OSC) Shift Operatorperforming activities related to IT Service Support, IT Help Desk, DataProcessing and IT Technical Support. This position is staffed and supported byrotating shifts to cover a 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days per year schedule.Duties and Responsibilities:This position will routinely perform activities associated with IT customersupport, including but not limited to:Phone call triageEmail triageIncident and service request ticket creation, updating and closureManual uploading of data into the systemsCreation and transmission of daily and ad hoc reportsAssist with bridge/conference callsInitial troubleshooting of IT and non-IT related issuesProcess User Access Requests for all systemsFacilities checksConsolidate and post daily shift logsMeeting Service Level Agreements (SLA's)Assist with editing of Standard Operating Procedures and other supportingdocumentationUnlocking accounts and/or resetting passwordsMinimum Qualifications:The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to workindependently and/or as part of a team and have proven investigative,research and/or analysis abilities.Prior experience in customer service or call center environmentStrong oral and written communication skills.Ability to communicate and coordinate with various customers and stakeholderson a variety of issues.Ability to assist with maintaining documentation reflecting the currentoperational environment.Team player with strong interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications:Knowledgeable with Remedy Incident ManagementStrong technical knowledge in troubleshooting Windows workstation and customerapplication problemsAbility to work on individual tasks, as well as team oriented tasksAbility to prioritize competing prioritiesAbility to work under a cross-matrix management structureTo apply to this position please go to and click on Careers tocomplete and an employment application and to upload your resume.S4 Inc. offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package with401(k), and universal time off.
