Job Information

Microchip Technology Production Specialist in Colorado Springs, Colorado


  • Operates highly complex equipment, in a clean-room environment needed for wafer probe and package test. This includes probe card repair and probe card analyzer, wafer probers, package handlers, testers, and hand testing parts.

  • Activities are routine and may be repetitive.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills; including familiarity with Microsoft Windows programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Ability to multi-task while paying careful attention to detail; Prior success working individually and in a team environment; Ability to follow direction (both written and verbal); Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed work specifications for each piece of equipment; Good work history, dependable, personal attendance/punctuality; Quick adaptability to changes;


  • Proficiency in written and oral communication. Math skills to verify pass/fail, total lot quantities and low yield levels. These skills and abilities normally may be acquired through 12 years of general education or equivalent. Must have above average attendance.
