Philips Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineering in Colorado Springs, Colorado
In this role, you have the opportunity to
lead cross-functional teams to drive critical manufacturing improvements and business continuity projects; thrive as our project manager and serve as a strategic leader on objectives related to driving the Philips integration across Operations for Philips’ Image Guided Therapy Devices business; and to guide, influence and lead a rapidly evolving team as we drive to our corporate goals.
You are responsible for
Managing the execution of multiple projects within manufacturing & operations
Defining cross-functional resourcing needs
Continuously monitoring projects risks and mitigation as appropriate
Driving tactical execution and project planning activities with a daily focus, track progress, aggressively exploit opportunities and proactively mitigate risks for Operations.
Serving as the team representative across multiple cross-functional teams for critical sustaining and stewardship efforts that require strong project management and leadership skills, including the ability to influence and lead within a rapidly evolving, cross-functional, and highly regulated environment
Supporting your team’s performance and their adherence to company procedures, applicable regulations and standards to achieve the agreed upon objectives with business leaders
Providing daily direction and guidance to team members in the execution of the projects
Providing guidance and coaching/mentoring to team members as appropriate
You are a part of
A cross functional team and ultimately be responsible for the team’s performance and their adherence to company procedures, applicable regulations and standards to achieve the agreed upon project charter with Senior Leadership. You will lead project planning activities, track progress, aggressively exploit opportunities and proactively mitigate risks for both in house and OEM design manufacturing.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
BS in Engineering or Science, advanced degree desired
4+ years in progressive technical/manufacturing roles
2+ years in progressive project management leadership roles
4+ years’ experience in the medical/pharmaceutical field preferred, along with a solid working knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations and ISO 13485
Demonstrated strong potential to lead and influence cross-functional peers
Project management certifications preferred (Agile Project Management, PMP)
Six Sigma or other process/product improvement certifications preferred (DFSS, DRM, DFMA, DMAIC, Toyota Production Systems, etc.)
