OVERVIEW FTI is seeking a hands-on Pricing Analyst, fully versed in supportingDoD pricing activities. This role offers the opportunity to scale your coreoperations skill set to include cross functional interaction,mentoring/training, interface with all levels of management, andexecution of early life cycle program activities. In this role you will provide critical support to a variety ofestimating, pricing and cost volume activities. This is a fast-pacedposition, requiring attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solvingskills. This position requires a strong understanding of all governmentcontract types, including Cost Plus, Cost Plus LOE, Time and Material(T.and.M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Firm Fixed Price Level ofEffort (FFP LOE). Additionally, candidates must possess knowledge indeveloping Price to Win strategies. As a quickly growing company, theindividual in this role will manage the overall proposal process, developingproposal schedules and ensuring timely submission of proposals. The successful candidate in the role must interface across all functionaldisciplines and analyze and support proposals in executive level reviews andin fact finding with customers. Individual must ensure compliance withgovernment regulations and internal processes and methodology. Success in this role is defined by forging strong relationships withinternal organizations, taking ownership of development, introduction,and growth of processes, along with flawless execution to organizationalgoals. RESPONSIBILITIES * Support pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actionsto enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricingmatters. * Interface with Operations and other functional organization personnelresponsible for estimates, providing guidance and training as needed * Analyze estimates of labor, material, equipment, other directcosts and subcontractors. * Development of fully compliant and competitive cost and pricingvolumes, establishing and coordinating schedules, cost/price modeldevelopment and cost narrative. * Ensure integrity and accuracy of cost, as well as related financialinformation * Assist with pricing negotiations of proposals * Develop, maintain and regularly update a pricing history database. * Understand and implement all internal cost estimating policies. Enhancethese processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response tomarket conditions * Understand requirements associated with receiving an adequateestimating system determination. Ensure FTI processes support all necessaryrequirements * Excellent research skills for determining market and competitor pricingdata * Writes effective, clear, concise correspondence. * Ensure compliance with corporate policies and Federal AcquisitionRegulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement(DFARS), all applicable supplements, and agency supplements. * Develop and cultivate a collaborative team environment * Perform other duties as required. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS * B.S. Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting highlypreferred * Requires a minimum of 6+ years of related experience in DoDContracting * Advanced Excel skills Required, VBA * Solid background in Proposal and Cost Volume preparation, * Solid knowledge of the DOD s PPBES process and color of money * Experience with life cycle cost estimating (parametric, analogy andgrass roots), estimating by work breakdown structures (WBS), BOE and LOE * Knowledge in developing Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP) * In depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS and agency supplements. * Effective interpersonal skills. * Good communication and organizational skills. * Detail-oriented * Ability to interpret a significant amount of data and consolidate toexecutive reporting * Strong analytical skills * Ability to collaborate effectively w
