What You’ll Do:
Gather requirements, designs detailed programs, information/flow charts and diagrams showing mathematical computations and sequence of machine operations.
Assist in the design, development, testing and deployment of the application to include implementation of the application following the 12 factor App methodology and microservices.
Development of the application database and back-end server
Development of the application front-end user interface
Support development of products from Discovery and Framework through iterative development and delivery
Verify accuracy and completeness of programs and systems by developing sample representative data and perform testing using developed test plans.
Familiar with and implement a number of different programming languages and IDEs.
Enhance software to reduce operating times or improve efficiency/functionality. Utilize Agile software development methodology.
Document designs, develop tests plans and end product documentation (User Guides, Programmer’s Guides, etc.)
Perform technical assessments of the legacy application. Perform legacy application refactoring, modifying legacy application to become cloud native;
Mentor and supervisor junior level staff.
What You’ll Need:
Experience with Docker, AWS Cloud Products (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda), Atlassian Products (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket), Gitlab, SonarQube, VS Code, mySQ, Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Gradle, Kubernetes, C#, C++, Python, RHEL 7, RHEL 8, Selenium, and Cucumber, IntelliJ
Experience with SOA and REST APIs; microservice development experience a plus

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university, MCP certification(or equivalent). One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required experience.
