Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Prefer 8 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.

The IT Security Analyst/DevOps Engineer is a member of the Oracle Managed Cloud Services team responsible for security architecture, engineering, and automation for the services provided by Managed Cloud Services Security team, as well as the broader Customer Services organization. This position will be a contributor in developing security automation, processes, and programs used by MCS Security in meeting its charter and objectives, as well as effectively managing security risks in the solutions and services provided by OMCS overall.
Within the MCS Security team, you will join a fast-paced organization responsible for keeping Oracle s Federal, Commercial and other Regulated environments and data secure. As a member of this high performing team, you will design and implement security automation to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability.
The IT Security Analyst/DevOps Engineer collaborates with cross department efforts to drive vulnerability remediation and ensure compliance throughout MCS s cloud and on-prem environments including Linux and Windows servers, networking devices, security appliances, applications, and databases. Additionally, you will promote improvements in configuration management, provisioning, software deployment, vulnerability identification, and security compliance.
Strong understanding of information security risk management concepts, frameworks, and industry standards. Extensive NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, or FedRAMP experience is a must.
Experience with commercial security products and closing gaps through development, automation, API integrations, as well as researching and closing software vulnerabilities via patching. Broad technical background in infrastructure and Cloud applications with the acumen and ability to interpret technical specs and architect solutions.
Excellent communication skills, analytical capability, judgment, self-driven, multi-tasking, proactivity, and willingness to adapt to change in dynamic, global environment are critical.
Developer skillset should include Python, Ruby, shell scripting, terraform, as well as RDBMS. Experience working in a DevOps environment with exposure to CI/CD technologies, namely Git, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
5 years IT experience including cloud computing, server computing, information security, and other infrastructure IT areas with at least 3 years of IT Security experience across multiple hardware platforms, technologies, OS s, software, and applicationsCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certifications are a plus. BS in Computer Science is preferred.
Must be a US Citizen and comfortable working with U.S. Federal civilian and military customers in a highly regulated and complex environment. Candidate must reside in United States and be a U.S. Citizen. Existing clearances are a plus.
