The Lead oversees andassists the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment; oversees andmaintains Fire Alarm Systems and assists with the repair and maintenance ofthe Fire Sprinkler system and other life safety systems and devices;maintains accurate and up-to-date records for The Joint Commission and otherregulatory agencies; inspects and repairs support medical equipment forcompliance to documented safety and performance standards. Position's leadresponsibilities include, but are not limited to, determining and settingpriorities for team; completing work assignments; instructing andreviewing the work of team; resolving problems and conflicts; performingsupervisory duties for two or more employees with finalaccountability/oversight remaining with the supervisor who is responsiblefor delegating the lead assignments.Essential Functions:* Installs and repairs any and all electrical components and systems in anefficient and timely manner. Performs preventative maintenance on multipletypes of electrical equipment.* Repairs and maintains electrical equipment in a hospital setting such as,but not limited to, emergency generators, automatic transfer switches,motors, variable frequency drives, ATO, electrical distributionswitchgear, transformers, lighting, and UPS systems.* Maintains a clean and safe work environment to prevent work place injuries.* Completing assigned tasks and communicated clearly and appropriately toensure that the end user of all projects is satisfied and happy with theoutcome* Works with various contractors to obtain the best price and ensure thatservices are completed in a timely manner and as intended.
