Sunrun Associate Systems Administrator in Denver, Colorado

Overview:

Are you a talented, inspiring System Administrator with SaaS(Google Workspace, Okta, Workspace One) and infrastructure experience? Are you interested in a career delivering innovative solutions? Supporting our growing company, this could be your ideal opportunity!

You will work with diverse technologies with a team of Engineers responsible for the business applications and infrastructure. You will build tools and automation to eliminate manual operations and craft repeatable processes, thereby maintaining a highly available infrastructure.

You will be responsible for documenting your tickets and projects, along with crafting troubleshooting guides and establishing best operating practices.

You will work with internal business teams/stakeholders, and various technology departments to diagnose problems. Additionally, the Corporate Engineering team is responsible for performing changes to maintain the reliability of all business applications. This is a mix of engineering and operations role with strong customer focus for a US dispersed company.

Responsibilities:

  • Desktop and Server based OS installation and configuration

  • Creating troubleshooting documentation

  • Update support tickets within a Helpdesk System

  • Explaining systems to technical and non-technical clients/end users

  • Maintaining OS updates and security configurations

Qualifications: Required Skills

  • Ability to learn and willingness to take on more complex tasks

  • Ability to diligently create and maintain clear and concise documentation

  • Good customer and people skills with ability to effectively work through a variety of methods, including email, Microsoft Teams, telephone, and face to face

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others

  • Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities with ability to multitask

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Ability to clearly relay technical data to non-technical individuals

  • Detail oriented with good follow-up and follow-through

    Education & Soft Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree and/or relevant work experience

  • 2 years or more experience providing end-user support and infrastructure systems management

  • Google Workspace - Proficiency with Google Drive, Mail, Meet, Chat

  • Microsoft Office – Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10, Office Suite and Office365

  • Organization skills are a must as you will have to handle multiple tickets at once

  • Punctuality

  • Ability to accept and follow guidance/mentoring

  • Ability to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision

  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language

    Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform normal office duties

  • Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work assigned

  • Ability to interact and participate in meetings
