Cigna Business Project Lead Analyst (TUE-SAT; 6a - 2p) in Denver, Colorado

  • Job Summary: Responsible for working on a production support team as a Business Project IT Specialist in a role supporting a variety of macros and processes utilized by a claim edit application in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Will work closely with a team of users ensuring the functionality and reliability of the application tool they rely on daily to identify claim savings.Those successful in the role have a varied background and can perform support of macros, monitoring and user communications (as well as additional tasks).

  • Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficient with Macros, triaging, analyzing and issue resolution assessment

  • Monitoring, ticket triaging and completion.

  • Maintain domain expertise on system supported, and participate in day-to-day operations of the systems.

  • Establish, maintain and follow necessary processes and procedures for operational support of designated applications.

  • Remove obstacles and barriers to allow completion of tasks and escalation as appropriate.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Flexibility and experience working as Individual Contributor and as member of a Team

  • Close collaboration with team members to successfully manage day to day support of applications under the team’s purview.

  • Assists in managing the production support of the application’s User Interface, backend data and all associated reports and database jobs.

  • Participates and sometimes leads efforts to find efficiencies and improve day to day proactive monitoring of applications and associated processes.

  • Shares knowledge and experience to contribute to growth of overall team capabilities

  • Participates in the deployment, change, configuration, management, administration and maintenance of deployment process and systems

  • Focuses on customer satisfaction

  • Job Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with macros

  • Experience with database, batch components and website

  • 2+ years working with macros

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong focus on delivering superior customer service required

  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to work with staff and business required

  • Willingness to learn our business domain required

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • General understanding of Healthcare industry

  • General knowledge of claims

  • Experience working in a waterfall and agile environment
