Hologic is seeking a full-time Field Service Engineer (FSE) to be based in, or near Denver, CO.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The incumbent may be asked to perform otherfunction-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilitiesas reasonably required by business needs.
Conductsadvanced troubleshooting to repair, test and qualify instruments locatedat assigned territory sites.
Provides24/7 coverage to customers within 24 hours of notification.
Schedulesand manages preventive maintenance and unscheduled visits to instrumentsites.
Determinescorrect inventory levels of repair parts with supply lines.
Documentsrepair/ resolution of customer calls in CRM system and escalates issues tomanagement as needed.
Workswith Product Application Engineers to resolve quality issues and advise ofissues and developments.
Keepmanagement advised of issues and developments.
Ensureinstrumentation is in compliance with regulatory requirements and qualitycontrol standards.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Mustbe able to meet customer credentialing requirements
Workingknowledge of chemistry principles and chemical handling techniques.
Understandingof proper use and operation of electronic testing equipment.
Knowledgeof inventory and procurement systems.
Abilityto interface with internal and/or external customers.
Strongrobotics, fluidics and pneumatics experience preferred.
Abilityto pass a comprehensive background check.
Possessa valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record.
BS/BAdegree or equivalent experience preferred.
AA/ASdegree and/or practical Military experience considered.
- 2- 5 years related field experience with direct customer interaction,preferably in a laboratory setting.
This person will workout of a home based office
Position will require75+% travel (car and air)
There will be on-callduties, weekend work and overtime
Overnight stays could be3 to 4 nights a week
Candidate must be within 1 hour of Denver International Airport
