Job Requisition ID - 5000639126006Fountain Installer (MEM) - Full-Time/Days$23.15/hrThis position delivers and installs vending/fountain equipment as needed.Position uses lifting and equipment to load/unload and move large fountainmachines/units at customer accounts. Prepares equipment for delivery andmaintains all paperwork associated with equipment installation and removal.Installs fountain beverage systems from start to finish. May also assist withmoving, storing, and organizing equipment in inventory at the facility.This position requires lifting, pushing/pulling and movingvending/fountain machines that weigh approximately 800-1200 pounds severaltimes over 10-12 hour period.PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Unload and load new and used vendors or fountain for daily delivery- Install vendors and load/reload with products as necessary- Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending/fountain equipment- Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures- Collect accurate and complete equipment information- Maintain parts, tools, and equipment- Follow DOT regulations- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate customer/work orderrecords for each delivery- Transport miscellaneous items such as compressors for repair/scrap,cardboard for recycle, etc.- Fill install and adjust to proper mix of product- Establish positive customer relationships- Regular, reliable, predictable attendanceBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- At least 18 year of age 21 or older if CDL required.- High School Diploma or GED- Pass the required drug test- Pass the required background checks- Valid CDL license (if required)- Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable)- Follow DOT regulationsHELPFUL EXPERIENCE:- Working with mechanical systems (e.g., knowing mechanical concepts,troubleshooting and repairing appliances, performing basic household repairin plumbing, circuits, fuses, and electrical components, operatinghand tools and power tools, etc.)- Generating and setting work schedules (e.g., determining the priority ofwork projects, building work schedules, scheduling tasks during the day, etc.)- Operating trucks requiring a CDL Class B license (e.g., performing basicfunctions like driving forwards, driving backwards, or maneuvering intight spaces, etc.)- Serving customers (e.g., resolving customer issues, ensuringappropriate communication with store managers, following up on customerrequests, etc.)- Completing basic paperwork (e.g., filling out paperwork, completingdocumentation to turn in to supervisor, filling out timecards mileage, etc.)Our Company will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminalhistories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Fair CreditReporting Act, and all other applicable laws, including but not limitedto, San Francisco Police Code Sections 4901-4919, commonly referred to asthe San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance; and Chapter XVII, Article 9 ofthe Los Angeles Municipal Code, commonly referred to as the Fair ChanceInitiative for Hiring Ordinance.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment withoutregard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genderidentity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Female / Minority / Disability/ Protected Veteran / Sexual Orientation / Gender IdentityIf you'd like more information about your EEO rights as an applicant underthe law, please download the available EEO is the Law .and.
