Inland Technologies is hiring Glycol Plant Specialists at our Denver International Airport (DEN) - Glycol Recycling Facility location.

The Inland Group of Companies is comprised of IDS, Inland Technologies, and Quantem Aviation Services. We offer a full range of airport and airline services, from aircraft deicing and spent ADF recovery to cargo and passenger handling. Overview:We are seeking a qualified individual to contribute to our on-going success in the role of Glycol Pant Specialist. The Glycol Pant Specialist will provide maintenance services on all plant processing equipment, assisting in a wide variety of maintenance activities; addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns; and ensuring that equipment, tools, materials, and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at the job site when needed.

This part-time seasonal position is located at the Glycol Recycling Facility at the Denver International Airport (DEN) in Denver, CO, and reports to the Operations Manager/Supervisor.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist skilled maintenance workers with equipment operations (e.g. fluid flow rates, completing specific tasks, etc.) to meet plant requirements and equipment production targets;

  • Maximize equipment operations to meet desired production targets;

  • Coordinate with supervisor(s) for the purpose of completing projects and work requirements efficiently;

  • Compliance with all environmental laws and permits;

  • Install system component parts (e.g. pumps, valves, blowers, plumbing, etc.) to ensure production rates are achieved;

  • Execute laboratory certification of fluids to meet regulatory requirements;

  • Maintains equipment, tools, and chemicals for the purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating condition;

  • Participates in meetings, workshops, training, and safety seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions;

  • Perform a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities to complete projects within established time frames;

  • Prepare written materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information;

  • Transport a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at the job site;

  • Safely operate Glycol Recovery Vehicle, forklift, and other plant vehicles;

  • Working under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods; providing information and/or advising others, and operating within a defined budget.

As the ideal candidate, you possess the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent;

  • Valid Colorado driver?s license;

  • Must pass the Transportation Security Administration background check;

  • Ability to operate equipment used in skilled trades, power and hand tools;

  • Handling hazardous materials;

  • Planning and managing projects;

  • Standard methods, materials, and tools used in assigned skilled trade; and safety practices and procedures;

  • Ability to schedule activities, gather and/or collect data;

  • Ability to work well with others;

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships;

  • Operate equipment using standardized methods;

  • Strong problem-solving skills;

  • Able to adapt to changing work priorities;

  • Display mechanical aptitude;

  • Work under time constraints;

  • Adhere to safety practices and comply with OSHA regulations.

Please note: The compensation for this position is an hourly wage of $24.13 which includes fringe benefits. The salary will be adjusted once the successful candidate is eligible for benefits. Flexibility is a requirement as the work schedule will vary.
