Duties will also include maintainingworkstations, tablets and provide help desk support to end users. General Job Duties and Responsibilities: * The Set-up desktop and laptop computers for employees of IES. * Set up tablets for employees of IES. * Provide first level telephone support and problem resolution. * Install and test necessary software and hardware. * Maintain daily performance of computer systems. * Clean up computers as needed as part of troubleshooting. * Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved. * Assist with onboarding process of new employees. * Maintain records of assets in database format. * Provide remote IT support with remote control software. * Hardware supported will include: Dell and Cisco servers, Lenovo andDell desktops and laptops, HP printers, various copiers, Cisco networkequipment. Provides users with network, PC and software technical support. * Responds to needs and questions of users concerning their access ofnetwork resources. * Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common networkproblems. * Ability to learn and obtain A+ certification within 6 months. * Assist with Server maintenance and deployment * Other responsibilities as assigned Physical and Mental Requirements: * Must be self-motivated, professional and positive in approach. * Ability to adapt to a changing environment. * Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees,vendors, clients and business partners. * Must be able to act as the Company liaison for interface with customerrepresentative(s). * Must possess proven problem solving and critical thinking skills * Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and customerservice skills * Ability to multi-task and be organized * Ability to work effectively both independently and on a team * Flexible in handling assignments and attention to detail. * Ability to lift and move computers, printers and servers. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: * Must possess at least a High School Diploma or GED equivalency(Associates Degree in IT Field preferred) * Technical certifications: MCP, A+ are beneficial * Understanding of networking operating systems, topologies,security, Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS and remote communications * Must have knowledge of Windows, network equipment, personalcomputers, and other IT hardware. * Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows 7 * Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously andwork independently * Must meet Company minimum driving standards.EEO and Affirmative Action The IES policy on equal employment opportunity prohibits discriminationbased on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, genderidentity, sexual orientation, individuals with disabilities, protectedveterans, or any other protected status or characteristic.
