The Technology Solution Delivery (TSD) Leader will provide technical input to Product Engineering who will ultimately be responsible for delivering the solution. The TSD resource will continue to be a resource to Solutions Engineering to provide additional details, resolve issues and monitor progress against the business and technology requirements. The primary focus of this role is to establish and maintain value-driven, strategic, collaborative relationship with America’s leadership, Global Operations and the Solution Engineering teams to develop and maintain the technology strategy and roadmap for strategic initiatives, and proactively manage the Technology demands for product and services requirements. A key partner to the business teams, TSD helps determine the solution, ensures alignment on technology and participates in design sessions.

For such a detail-driven role, you will possess at least of 12 years of experience, ideally within the Financial Service industry, along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. You will have demonstrated success with strategic solutioning, a deep understanding of technology, both internal and external products and service delivery capabilities and the ability to effectively partner and collaborate with the various functions within Product Management, Global Operations and Technology. You must be customer focused, with experience in designing and delivering customer facing applications and services with an emphasis on superior user experience (UX) and user satisfaction. This role requires you to have knowledge and expertise in delivering financial applications with a broad understanding of other customer facing applications (such as social media and ecommerce) and current industry trends in each. This role also requires that you have a diverse background in creating and understanding software system architectural diagrams, UML diagrams (e.g., sequence and activity diagrams), and other technical artifacts. Lastly, you must possess strong communication skills for interfacing with external Partners, internal leadership, and cross functional technical teams.

Annual base salary gross:  $140,874-$228,920. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
