Better requires process discipline and simplification
We’ll be looking to you to network across Western Union globally and build strong relationships with stakeholders and develop sourcing and contracting strategies which help support the business. You will conduct supplier negotiations including drafting and executing contracts, negotiating pricing, mitigating risk with a focus on relevant regulatory statutes governing Global Data Protection and consumer privacy. You will develop category strategies which outline and define the markets and supply strategy to assist Business Units decision makers on the appropriate sourcing methodologies based on market conditions, regulatory/compliance requirements, risk potential and cost components. You’ll work globally with Legal, Privacy, Information Security, A/P, Procurement and internal business units and other appropriate groups to determine areas of opportunity for process improvement, aggregation of purchases, total cost reduction, risk mitigation, global consumer privacy protections and data security.
For such a detail-driven role, you’ll have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing and contract management. Ideally, you will have your bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Finance, or relevant experience. You will have expertise in Enterprise Services and negotiation and contract management.
