Responsible for coordinating and completing execution of task associated with performing basic maintenance activities, and preventative maintenance activities associated with gas treating facilities. Will assist Operations Specialist in performing maintenance repairs and equipment preventative maintenance activities as needed. Works with operations to improve operational performance and minimize equipment downtime. Works under the direction of other department personnel to perform or assist in completing assigned task; including facility operations, pipeline and measurement activities.
*Primary Duties & Responsibilities*
While participating in job task, responsible for overseeing work executed to ensure all activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure that all activities performed are in compliance with all William’s safety rules, regulations, and per policies and procedures.
Participate in safety meetings and develop knowledge in all safety policies and industry safety standards.
Identify and report safety hazards, actively strive to provide a safe work environment for company employees, customers, contractors and the public, and to set an example for less experienced coworkers.
Adhere to all company policy guidelines.
Perform routine filter changes on various filter canisters or housings. Fill out and submit the corresponding documentation to support activities.
Work with Operation Specialists in performing pump, dehydration, cooler, generation, air compressor, and valve maintenance /preventative maintenance task. Fill out and submit the corresponding documentation to support activities.
Be able to perform basic screw pipe applications and execute work associated with approved modifications.
Assist in overseeing contractor activities.
Assist in facility operations, under the direction of plant operators.
Assist measurement technician in job duties or meter installs.
Assist with compressor mechanics on company owned equipment.
Assist pipeline technicians in valve replacements, chemical pump repairs and/or chemical injection setups, record chemical levels in storage tanks, inspect containments and chemical injection systems for integrity and proper operation.
Be available for callouts and non-scheduled work hours on a periodic basis.
Adhere to William’s lockout / tagout policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
*Knowledge, Skills, & Attributes*
Basic technical experience with facility and pipeline maintenance.
Basic knowledge of regulatory impacts to operations and maintenance activities driven by the United States Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Process Safety Management (PSM), and Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA).
Average or above average written and oral communication skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts.
Demonstrate good computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer for completing and submitting documentation, associated with assigned task. Able to learn company specific applications including PeopleSoft and SharePoint.
Understand hazards associated with working around systems and process equipment where pressurized gas is present.
Ability to travel to various Access field locations associated with the designated operating area.
*Education & Work Experience Required*
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 Years of industry related experience.
Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record and follow all guidelines that are outlined in the William’s Fleet Policy.
Production and/or mechanical experience.
Midstream gas industry experience.
