Overhead Persistent Infrared Mission Data Processing Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Identify the business' current problems and future technological goals and maintain responsibility for creating, designing, and implementing arrangements within an organization. Maintain responsibility for communicating with other clients to implement new plans and goals. Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide highly innovative and ingenious solutions. Work towards predetermined long-range goals and objectives under consultative direction. Determine and pursue the courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with overhead persistent infrared (OPIR) mission requirements, concepts of operations (CONOPS), mission data processing systems, and messages and data format

-Knowledge of OPIR processing, system user requirements and perspectives, current OPIR mission limitations, and potential solutions

-Ability to work collaboratively with the government, users, and industry stakeholders to analyze OPIR mission data processing problems, identify solutions, and lead the implementation of approved solutions

-Secret clearance

-BS degree in Engineering, CS Mathematics, or Physics

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with full stack development, including Java, C++, UNIX, or RHEL preferred

-Top Secret clearance preferred

-MS degree preferred
