The Technical Account Manager for Proxy is a solutions expert focused onSymantec s network protection line of web security products who serves as atrusted advisor proactively helping their assigned customers maximize theirinvestment in Symantec. They drive adoption and consumption of Symantecsolutions, assisting customers to realize optimal security posture andrespond rapidly when issues arise. RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain knowledge of Symantec Web Security solutions andintegrations/interoperability within the assigned customer environments * Understand how our customers are utilizing SYMANTEC s Web Securitysolutions and recommend additional features that can be leveraged to increasetheir security posture * Ensure customer configuration aligns with recommended best practices * Build trusted relationships with relevant technical and managementstakeholders in assigned accounts * Develop and proactively manage strong relationships with internalpersonnel in related functional areas of SYMANTEC * Serve as the technical point of contact and customer advocate to ensurethat issues are resolved quickly and efficiently * Alert and advise customers around critical vulnerabilities and softwareupdates * Some travel may be required to assigned customer locations * Be available after hours for customer emergencies on occasion * Invest in ongoing self-development to acquire industry relevant skillsnecessary to satisfy your customer s needs QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum two to three commercial service experience within theinformation technology industry * University Degree and/or relevant industry qualifications (CISSP,Security +,CEH ) desired * Experience with customer facing technical service delivery * Must have strong interpersonal and effective communication skills * Experience with the on-premises portion of the Symantec Web Securitycore is preferred: * Secure Web Gateway (ProxySG/ASG) * Content Analysis (CA) * Malware Analysis Appliance (MAA) * SSL Visibility (SSLV) * Management Center (MC) * Experience with network troubleshooting using the Wireshark packetanalyzer tool required * Recent experience supporting Symantec ProxySG, Content Analysis orSSL Visibility is highly regarded. * A top secret security clearance and ability to work with US governmentaccounts is highly regarded Symantec is an equal opportunity employer.
