Mead and Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consultingfirm, has a position available for a refrigeration/mechanical startuptechnician. Responsibilities include completing startup checklists andcommissioning equipment for industrial equipment (screw compressors,reciprocating compressors, evaporative condensers, evaporators, pumpsand air handling units); diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment duringstartup; developing pump down and tie-in plans; redlining as-builtdrawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (PandIDs), equipmentschedules and layout drawings; managing ARM/PSM documentation;performing mechanical integrity inspections; reviewing construction drawingfor constructability and serviceability. Travel will be required.The successful candidate will have at least eight years of relevantexperience.The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues; completing startupchecklists; commissioning industrial equipment; interpreting constructiondrawings and specifications; site construction safety training.
