We are seeking a Sr. DataStage ETLAdministrator for our EDM Service Management Team. This position can be located in the Broomfield or Denver, CO or Chicago, IL office. This role will provide high quality service to various stakeholders by ensuring stability and availability for all Enterprise Data Movement Infrastructure components.

This role will be the Subject Matter Expert for the InfoSphere Information Server® Suite of products. The primary service management focus of this role will be to identify and resolve issues before they reach critical states, and return service to customers quickly while adhering to established ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Release Management processes.

This position will be required to work a Shift Schedule which is based on the “Follow-The-Sun” Model in order to provide quality customer service on a 24x7 basis. This role will support both the Delivery & Service Management teams and will work during Mountain or Central Time daylight hours.

The Service Management member will be required to participate in a Cross Training Program to learn to provide level 1 to level 2 support for all technologies installed, maintained, customized and tested by Enterprise Data Movement, which includes DataPower, MQ for Unix, MQ for z/OS, IIB, CICS, MQFTE, DataStage / ETL, Connect Direct, Sterling Integrator, and ecube Kafka.

  • Provide support for allaspects of the InfoSphere®Information Server Suite of products

  • Troubleshoot issues anddevelop solutions in an effective manner

  • Participate in meetings anddiscussion with various stakeholders to understand the support challengesthat they face

  • Design, develop and deliverinfrastructure for enterprise data movement applications using middlewaretechnologies

  • Perform script-basedautomation for daily business activities including network maintenanceevents, patching events, resiliency events, server and applicationdeployments, partner closely with application developers to supportapplications hosted on servers

  • Train teammates on the InfoSphere Information Server ®Suite of products

  • Define,design, and, implement metrics reporting for the platform



Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience using IBM the InfoSphere® DataStage tool (bothadministration and development roles)

  • Previous experience writing Technicaldocumentation and Technical Training Guides

  • Experience troubleshooting the DataStage tooland developing solutions to resolve issues

  • Experience supporting large-scale dataintegration environments

  • Experience with building, configuring,patching and upgrading core infrastructure platforms

  • Ability to work off-hours and weekends toaccommodate implementation requirements

  • Ability to learn new tools and technologieswithin the enterprise data movement technology stack

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writtendocumentation

  • Familiar with ITIL processesand standards

  • Experience working in thefinancial service industry

  • Experience with otherplatforms such as IBM MQ, IBM MQMFT, IBM Sterling Integrator, ConfluentApache Kafka, CICS, IBM MQ Appliance, IBM DataPower Appliance

  • Experience with gridarchitectures and platforms

  • Project management experience

  • Experience using MicrosoftExcel pivot tables and PowerPoint to communicate to management

  • Prior experience working in anenvironment that is undergoing transformation and have the ability to workwithin change management, release management, incident management andproblem management processes
