POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking Sr.DataStage ETL Administrator for our EDM Delivery Team. This position can be located in our Broomfield or Denver, CO, Chicago, IL, Charlotte, NC or Iselin, NJ offices. This role will execute Enterprise Data Movement infrastructure projects and work with the Application Development teams and other stakeholders within the organization to ensure that their projects are successful.

This role will be the SubjectMatter Expert for the InfoSphereInformation Server ® Suite of products. The primary focus includes working directly with various stakeholders to plan and execute infrastructure projects; work with the Application Development Team to support them with the InfoSphere Information Server® products; and assist with the resolution of support escalations as required to ensure our enterprise data movement platform remains stable, scalable, reliable, available, secure, and performant.

This role will work during the Mountain Time or Central daylight hours. The ideal candidate will possess confidence in their InfoSphere® Data Stage skills and have the ability to execute in a timely manner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative group. Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for all aspects of theInfoSphere® Information Server Suite of products;

  • Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions in aneffective manner;

  • Participate in meetings and discussion with lineof business teams to understand the requirements and build-out a design;

  • Design, develop and deliver infrastructuresolutions for enterprise data movement applications using middlewaretechnologies;

  • Perform script-based automation for daily businessactivities including network maintenance events, patching events, resiliencyevents, server and application deployments, partner closely with applicationdevelopers to support applications hosted on servers;

  • Train teammates on the InfoSphere InformationServer® Suite of products

  • Define, design, and, implement metrics reportingfor the platform

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline, or four (4) years of related work experience

  • Minimum of 5 years working in an Information Technology position

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience using IBM the InfoSphere® Data Stage tool (both administration and development roles)

  • Previous experience in writing Technical documentation and Technical Training Guides

  • Ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions; must have a passion for performing this task

  • Experience supporting large-scale data integration environments

  • Experience with building, configuring, patching and upgrading core infrastructure platforms

  • Experience working in an environment that is undergoing transformation and ability to work within change management and release management processes;

  • Ability to work off-hours and weekends to accommodate implementation requirements;

  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies within the enterprise data movement technology stack

Preferred:

  • Familiar with ITIL processes and standards

  • Experience working in the financial service industry

  • Experience with other platforms such as IBM MQ, IBM MQMFT, IBM Sterling Integrator, Confluent Apache Kafka, CICS, IBM MQ Appliance, IBM DataPower Appliance

  • Experience with grid architectures and platforms

  • Project management experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel pivot tables and PowerPoint to communicate to management

  • Experience with Talend Data Integration or Big Data Suites

  • Experience with Oracle databases and bulk load utilities

  • Experience using Teradata databases and bulk load utilities

  • Experience with zOS

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Ability to work in a team environment
