How will you make an impact?
We're seeking a talented senior-level Software Test Engineer will develop and execute software test plans, designs, and automated framework and test scripts and the execution of Agile software development practices and deliver innovative solutions for rapidly evolving markets.
What will you do?
Generate test plan strategy document and execute test plans, verification and validation protocols
Capture the test evidence and prepare test summary document by end of project closure
Performs both script-based automated testing and functional page by page analysis using Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Coded-UI and/or API testing, system integration testing, and performance/load testing
Able to design and implement test cases in a rapid prototyping environment with minimal supervision
Collaborate with the design team to document product requirements and detailed specifications in the requirements capture tool
Identifies opportunities for process improvement, recommending methods and procedures to streamline the process
Analyze current operation procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement
How will you get here?
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience
10 years of recent experience leading software testing projects preferably for Windows based or web/cloud-based enterprise-scale applications
Experience in modern software testing strategies for automated functional testing, Coded-UI and API testing, system integration testing, and performance/load testing
Strong SQL experience
Experience with Coded-UI and/or Unified Functional Testing (UFT) based automation frameworks
Experience with evaluating and implementing test management systems and test automation frameworks.
Experience with software project management tools that support Scrum (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Demonstrate expertise in black box and white box testing methodologies
Demonstrable understanding and experience with the employment of modern software testing strategies for automated functional testing, unit and API testing, system integration testing, and performance/load testing
Strong understanding of Agile software development and of software quality assurance processes and automated tools
Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of software
Ability to provide Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria
Self-starter and comfortable determining direction in a highly dynamic environment with significant ambiguity at the project formation stage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
An ability to be productive and prioritize in an environment with multiple competing priorities
Able to assume and complete assignments independently
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server, TFS environment, Azure DevOps.
Experience in testing the software application in various operating systems and multi languages
Understanding of Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) fundamentals and working knowledge of SQL and any database experience
