Menzies Aviation Supervisor - Operational Support in Denver, Colorado

Description

  • Track all attendance infractions per employee for the Frontier operation.

  • Ensure coding is accurate in RosterApps.

  • Enter Missing Punch forms in Simplywork.

  • Create and issue diciplinary action for poor attendance in accordance to the current attendance policy.

  • Supervise the allocator department and ensure that all SOP’s are being followed.

  • Ensure safety and security procedures are performed according to the Simplicity USA Health & Safety regulations, and according to international aviation standards.

  • Monitor attendance, taking action to correct any shortfalls.

  • Liaises with airline station managers, airport operations staff, handling agents, customs, immigration, and security officials, and other airport stakeholders.

  • Report all attendance infractions/trends to upper management.

  • Prepares list for Return to Work interviews.

  • Notify the People Department of repeating no call no show’s so that a job abandonment letter may be sent.

  • Work shifts as required by the operation.

  • Proccess and review billing documents for the station director.

  • Report any significant deficiency in our operations directly to Planning Manager, Shift Manager or Station Director.

  • Has the duty to suggest any improvements to working practice especially those relating to safety and security.

  • Other tasks assigned by Planning/Scheduling Manager.

  • Comfortable and continuously lift/move 70 lbs of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals and air cargo facilities.

  • Frequent bending, strecthing push/pulling, stacking and kneeling in small confined locations.

  • Operate motorized equipment

  • Record sick calls or no call/no shows in RosterApps.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to speak, read and write in Engligh proficiently

  • Valid US driver’s license with good driving record

  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shift including weekends and holidays

  • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.

  • Must pass a drug test

  • Must pass pre-employment medical

  • Must pass an FBI background check and obtain a custom seal

  • Prior ramp experience a plus

  • Must be computer literate
