Flexential Systems Administrator in Denver, Colorado
The System Administrator’s primary responsibility is to provide a superior customer experience through planning improvement projects, monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive incident resolution for Flexential's internal systems. You will work in an operational capacity as well as a consultative capacity for new systems and tools. It is important to have an in-depth knowledge of current systems with an eye for the future. It is also important that we operate in a manner that best enables the business.
A strong combination of technical administration, troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills is vital to the System Administrator’s success!
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to enable concise and clear updates to customer service requests and incidents in a prompt manner
Identify recurring incidents within the environment and determine the need to escalate to the appropriate technical resources, ensuring resolution of more complex issues
Collaborate with business units and teammates to determine improvement areas for capabilities and processes
Engage customers in a professional manner, resolving requests and incidents with a high sense of urgency and ownership
Be a team player focused on collective improvement and growth
Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of Flexential technology solutions to support incident management within customer environments, including incident response across the following areas: VMWare & HyperV, Microsoft & Linux OS, Cisco devices, Fortinet product suite, CommVault backup solutions, solid understanding of cloud technologies and SaaS products, Disaster Recovery systems, and security
Responsible for Certificate Management and Domain name management

Active Directory and Single-sign on management
Minimum 6 years of experience working within an IT Support environment
AA, BS and/or actively pursuing an advanced degree in the technology field
Microsoft, Fortinet, Juniper, Linux+ Certifications desired
Active Directory, GPO, Domain Trusts
ITIL v3 certification preferred
Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Sharepoint online, and Exchange online
Use of command line tools such as CMD, Telnet, SSH, GIT, and SCP (Powershell, Bash or VBScript language skills is a plus)
Current experience applying troubleshooting techniques across various server, application, and network technologies including:
Remote Desktop, SSH, FTP
Microsoft Server Technologies (e.g. Server 2012) and OS Administration
VMWare and/or other virtualization technologies
Linux (or other *nix platforms) Administration
VLAN’s, ACL’s, IP subnets
Networking and Switching concepts
Positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency and ownership of quality work deliverables
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and a positive, customer satisfaction mindset are critical to this position
Experience with ticketing systems; in particular ServiceNow, in an ITIL environment
Base Pay Range : Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $70,000-$90,000, however, the actual pay range depends each candidate’s experience, location and qualifications.
Variable Pay : Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.
