Constellis is headquartered justoutside of Washington, D.C. in Reston, VA.RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate and complete all remote programming and troubleshooting of alarmcontrol panels via programming software and direct programming andtroubleshooting.Assist in troubleshooting and repair of all alarm panels whether local,other monitoring centers and MegaCenter connected.Provide instruction on proper operation of alarm and access control systems toend users as required.Assist in remote programming and troubleshooting all systems.Troubleshoot and arrange for repair of systems.Assist in maintaining and managing the service support desk system andassociated databases.Troubleshoot systems security issues over the telephone utilizing alarmreceiverautomation systems.Perform electronic technician work within the MegaCenter such as installingwiring, connecting and programming telephones, basic trouble shooting ofcircuits and basic trouble shooting of equipment.Conduct periodic inspections of the aforementioned systems as required.Ensure the programming MegaCenter Alarm Requirements (MAR) document is up todate.Ensure the New Account Checklist is up to date.Build new accounts in the alarm system program and the monitoring software.Review associated documentation for accuracy and completeness of panelinformation ato expedite the online time.Ensure that installing resources are in receipt of all required documentationincluding alinformation required for the MAR.Assist in coordinating all dates and times of download and testing efforts.Verify all zones are active and reporting properly through a complete test onsite.Report any deficiencies found to the installer/agency for guidance and/orprocedures.Ensure the new alarm system is in enabled mode for monitoring.Provide instruction on proper operation of alarm and access control systems toend users as required.Monitor panels reporting via internet to ensure consistent communication andproper receiver functionality.Maintain a master database of all alarm accounts to assist other offices withaccount creation, deletion, tracking and billing.Maintain an alarm tracking database to provide an avenue for dispatchercommunication and follow-up of recurring issues outside business hours.Maintain email folders and subfolders to ensure proper navigation,storage, and archiving of all documentation received.Provide documentation to authorized points of contact, as requested,regarding review and revision.Support the onsite technicians by assisting in troubleshooting and by readingalarm panel information via the event log in order to eliminate unnecessaryservice calls.QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or GED1 year experience as an alarm remote programmerExcellent phone skillsKnowledge of computers and software applicationBe able to handle filing and other administrative dutiesWHY CONSTELLIS?With operations across every major continent and an annual revenue of $1.7billion dollars, Constellis provides a wide array of opportunities forindividuals looking to build successful careers in a fast-paced, growingindustry.
