LHC Group VP Enterprise Architect (Open to Remote Work) in Denver, Colorado

The VP Enterprise Architect works with the business, IT and our partners / vendors to identify the major business initiatives associated with the overall business strategy, helps develop the over IT roadmap appropriately supported by a solid enterprise wide architectural solution. Also helps develop the big picture enterprise architecture and a home healthcare / hospice capability heat map. The Architect(s) directs the technical activity of the implementations to ensure that the developed solutions aligns with the specified solution.
Essential Functions
The Architect is responsible for performing the following tasks:
Lead the LHCG architects and business/IT/vendor representatives to gather requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements for the solution
Assess the ‘fit’ of the package to business needs and expectations. Provide experience to assist with what’s needed vs what’s possible
Review solution requirements for reasonability and conformance to project constraints and provide experience into
Work with the business analysts to create detailed requirements that specify the functional architecture of the system
Good understanding of the principles and approach associated with API / SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) based integration.
Maintain an overall perspective of business objective, not loosing sight of the big picture.
Utilise open and modular architecture techniques, IT & business knowledge to strategically align requirements with business direction.
Ensure that scope is aligned to the agreed deliverable, identify divergence of scope & escalate to the appropriate managers
Work with the business unit project managers and user community to determine changes that will be required to implement approved service requests
Ability to analyse business needs with a big picture view, and ability to drive through to the detail level
Closely work with ITSecurity/Vendor teams to ensure tight alignment of objectives and expectations.
Closely work with the development team to ensure that the developed solution matches the required solution
Map the alignment of the critical success factors with the business strategies
Maintain data about the reference architectures used to implement the infrastructure / application portfolio
Assist in change management and problem management processes as the business needs arise
Assist in the collection, storage, and reporting of measurement data.
Participate in other value-added operational processes such as project planning, staffing, testing, and quality assurance.
Please note that this position maybe performed through a remote Home office (e.g. home-shored, virtual ). While the preferred location would be based out of headquarters at Lafayette, LA - candidates to work at remote locations within the Dallas, Houston, Denver, or Louisville regions will be considered.
Education & Experience
Must have a master’s degree and should have a minimum 15 years of experience with 3 years as VP
Proven track record in delivery of home healthcare / hospice solutions for Tier 1 Organization
Leadership, ability to work with customers and present and gain acceptance with proposed technical solution
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Ability to work in a team environment and handle pressure situations
Ability to organise and lead Workshop & requirements facilitation sessions
Well-organised
Logical thinking approach to all problems
Detail-oriented
Self-directed
Preferred Skills:
Telco & Network knowledge
HCHB knowledge in particular e xperience in PointCare - SLA Management and Customer Event notification) & SSO
Design & Implementation experience
Experience in any of the following vendor packages / Solutions would be advantageous: Lawson (INFOR), Aprima, Continulink, WorldView, Epic, Microsoft, AWS
