Job SummaryIn addition to performing the functions and responsibilities of the specific145 Repair Station Technician job description at an exceptional level; theLead Technician will act as a subject matter expert for their maintenancediscipline, accepting additional responsibilities as listed below andprovide training and mentoring to shop personnel. They will be in charge ofleading their individual teams.Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Perform all core duties of applicable technician requirements at anexceptional level Coordinate with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning Departments toprovide support for field maintenance needs Oversee and organize specific shop personnel resources and workflow tomeet project deadlines Provide communications to Engineering Department for specialized shop needs Coordinate with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning Departments toprovide support for field maintenance needs Provide training on 145 maintenance processes and specialized shop equipment Report Maintenance Leads and Supervisors on project constraints andprogress updates Mentor new employees in understanding shop procedures to increase theirefficiency and productivity Give feedback to Supervisor on employee performance Responsible for monitoring, controlling and ordering of material usagein the designated shop. Ability to work independently or within a team environment. Ability to manage several projects concurrently and to work on problems ofdiverse scope and implement solutions.
