Description: An Avionics Technician I job in Englewood, CO is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing our aircraft avionics and electrical system components and keeping our aircraft in airworthy condition. To be considered for this role, you will have a High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience. A higher level degree may substitute for experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required.

Avionics Technician I Job duties:

  • Repair and maintain electronic systems involved with the operation of an aircraft

  • Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing our aircraft avionics and electrical system components and keeping our aircraft in airworthy condition

  • Support the design and creation of aerospace and defense technologies


  • Strong understanding and experience with wiring and wiring repair. Ability to understand an interpret technical schematics and drawings, especially wiring

  • Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL

  • Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pitot static equipment

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance required
