TeleTech IT Software Asset Management Analyst in Englewood, Colorado
The IT Software Asset Management, Senior Analyst is part of a team which manages IT hardware and software assets, their locations, lifecycle, inventory and support. The ideal candidate is one that has a strong technical background that can perform daily software asset inventory management functions for the Global TTEC environment including data analysis, reporting and process monitoring for improvement activities. This position will be based at our main office in Englewood, CO.
What you’ll be doing:
Responsible for supporting the life cycle of software asset management throughout a large enterprise organization
Analyze and reconcile software asset inventories and entitlements against usage and deployment data
Leads true-up processes
Regularly confirm license compliance for assigned software. Should coordinate vendor requirements within the IT organization and develop audit responses, and corrective action plans
Evaluates, develops, documents, and manages business processes for proper software usage / license inventory management
Evaluates, recommends and assists with implementing new asset management processes & tools
Generates software inventory data reports to internal departments as needed
Assists with software procurement
What skills you will bring:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in related field or an Associate’s degree in related field with 4 years of related IT experience or 8 years of job-related work experience.
Inventory management of software assets in a SAM tool or proven tracking process
Evaluating, developing and documenting software processes and procedures
Coordinating and communicating with a variety of teams and stakeholders
Analytical skills are critical to this position. Should have experience with advanced Excel functionality and data manipulation.
Extensive knowledge of scanning tools such as SCCM to extract and analyze software information
Reconciling software licenses against installed instances to measure and report on software license compliance
Should understand software licensing and how hardware configurations impacts licensing.
Advanced knowledge of Asset Management policies, procedures and concepts.
Leading projects to implement process, system, and tool improvements
Communicate effectively in writing or orally with technical staff as well as non-technical staff at all levels (from top management within the organization to the end user in the work environment)
