The Electronics Technician Maintenance I position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) and equipment for the Digital Range Training System. This position will be on the ATMP (Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program).
Performs PMCS, troubleshoots and isolate fault
Uses spare/repair parts to repair faults IAW technical guidelines
Researches and selects repair parts needed
Enters work order data in the on-line management information system
Applies basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
1 - 2 years experience with electronicstesting/troubleshooting
Must be able to obtain/maintain a validdriver’s license and On-Post driving privileges
Must be able to wear appropriatepersonal protective equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Project) applications.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance if required.
This position may require travel to other installations and other ATMP locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.
Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
